  1. I adore the design of Fig. 3. There’s something almost organic about it to me.

  2. It’s lovely. The forged ring is particularly nice to me, somehow. I look forward to once again having the ability to do some sand casting. It’s a fun process. I’ve tried doing the sort of rock casting stuff as seen in Fig. 4, but I wound up just making a mess and ruining a perfectly good rock. Course, I wasn’t using soapstone, and I had the bright idea of trying to torch melt the silver directly in the rock, so… I am ultimately to blame for my own stupidity.
